Okay, so I’ve seen this stuff before, and I’m actually okay with most of the characters chosen for this piece. However, I have real issues with Cinderella being placed as Uranus, Snow White as Saturn, and Mulan as Mercury. No. No no no. This was probably done for closest hair with bits of personality, but no. If anything, Mulan needs to be Uranus, and Cinderella Mercury. Or hell, even Snow White. I don’t know if I want ANY of them as Saturn because despite hair similarities(In which case Mulan would have to be picked), they don’t really fit(except for Mulan but then that leaves Snow white or Cinderella as Uranus… which I’m not fond of). I don’t know what the solution is… but no.
I will say that I am COMPLETELY okay with Sailor Moon/Tangled, and Jupiter/Princess and the Frog. They fit pretty well(and this is not based on skin color or hair). I can definitely see the Mars/Aladdin and Venus/Sleeping Beauty, based on some characteristics. I don’t think Venus/Sleeping Beauty completely works though, I just don’t know who I’d choose instead.
Pocohantas as Pluto? … … I’m super biased in this, because I ADORE Pluto like no one’s business, but I can live with it. And… is that Mini Moon/The Little Mermaid? Ehhhh…. uh-uh. Neptune/Beauty and the Beast, I think I’m sort of okay with. We’ll see.
But wouldn’t this also make Mamorua/Tuxedo Mask Flynn? I’m okay with that.
