Megacon Update:

Things that needed to be addressed:

  • Once again, I’m harping on the hotel. It was prepaid, so chances are I’m going to have to pay full price whether or not people come. There is a small chance though, if we end up cancelling one room, I may get a refund. IF YOU ARE GOING TO MEGACON, OR NOT STAYING IN THE HOTELS, YOU NEED TO LET ME KNOW. THE DEADLINE IS THE LAST DAY OF JANUARY. If you fail to let me know(Special circumstances such as family issues are not included, although before the 14th would be appreciated) I will still ask that you pay your share for the hotel. The closer it gets to the actual date of Megacon, the higher the chances they will not refund the money if I have to cancel a room. 
  • CONFIRM THAT YOU ARE GOING.
  • Please don’t forget to buy your tickets. If you buy them online, print out not just your confirmation barcoded ticket, but a confirmation e-mail as well. Apparently they’re going to ‘scan’ directly off the print out. If you are worried about the paper not working, you can also pull up the pdf/e-mail on your iPhones(if you have one) and it should scan off of there. The last day to buy tickets(Advanced Online) is Febuary 13th. Once it hits midnight(Feb 14th) online tickets are no longer available. As I’ve mentioned before, it’s cheaper and it gets you in earlier. Go with Advanced Online. That money can go towards food.
  • If you are riding in my car, I expect to leave my house by five in the morning, and be at Jon’s at six in the morning. At the LATEST we will leave by five-thirty. I’d like to avoid traffic since we’ll have to get off the turnpike and back on.
